Our Story

Layla Lynn Bober, 4, of Framingham, MA died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday January 27th 2019, when a bacterial infection in her blood (septicemia) and the influenza virus combined with her asthma which shut down her lungs and her heart. Presenting with a mild fever and congestion, it was the perfect storm that no one knew was brewing inside her body until it was too late. She was the daughter of Aaron and Kelly (Gold) Bober and little sister to Dominic Bober.

Layla loved to be active. She loved her cheerleading team the Tiny Tinkerbelles at Rocket Cheerleading of Natick and was the “tiniest tiny”. She was an amazing budding gymnast at Planet Gymnastics of Natick. She recently started playing hockey for Framingham Youth Hockey because she wanted to be just like her brother and picked it up with ease. And she loved being a ballerina and tap dancer at Annemarie’s Dance Center in Ashland. She attended Circle of Friends Children’s Center and Pre-School in Framingham since she was an infant and absolutely loved every minute there.

Layla was tiny in stature but her personality was larger than life. She lit up every single room she ever entered. She was sweet, she was sassy, and she was spicy. Layla girl had an infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She was truly loved by all, and made all whose lives she touched happier. The Layla Lynn Bober Memorial Foundation was created to support and advance the community organizations that made her happy, to ensure that they can continue to offer every little girl and little boy the happiness and love they so deserve.
