Framingham Country Club

Thank you for your participation and support of our second annual golf tournament! The tournament is hosted in memory of Layla Lynn Bober and to benefit the amazing youth organizations of the Framingham and MetroWest area. Your generous support enables the foundation to support scholarships and important initiatives at Rocket Cheer, Planet Gymnastics, Framingham Youth Hockey Program, Annemarie's Dance Center, and Circle of Friends Preschool & Children's Center.

2022 Tournament Review

Thank you to our sponsors, raffle prize donors, 34 golfing foursomes, volunteers, and dinner guests for making our Second Annual Tournament a success! We were thrilled for a beautiful sunny day at Framingham Country Club. Participants enjoyed pre-tournament lunch and access to the practice green and driving range. After a delicious buffet lunch on the patio golfers headed out for a shotgun start. Our eighteen holes of golf was filled with excitement - including a hole in one for one of our participants. After golf golfers and guests enjoyed cocktail hour, dinner, and winning fantastic raffle prizes. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the course in 2023!

On Course Golf Contests

It was an exciting day on the course!

Long Drive Contest Hole #12

Foursomes met professional long driver and 3x World Long Drive Qualifier Andrew Fernandes on hole 12. With an optional donation to the foundation for a chance to win, Andrew hit each group a spectacular long drive. No one holed out Andrew’s 400 yard drive on this Par 5 to win a golf trip to Pebble Beach, but they did shave a few strokes of their hole score. The foundation also raised additional funds to support our beneficiary organizations.

Dart Board Chipping Contest

This fun contest tested each foursome’s chipping skills at the back of the first tee. For a $20 per player donation, golfers took three chip shots each at the dart board to try to score as many points as possible. The each golfer on the highest scoring team at the end of the day won 7-night resort getaway. Congratulations to our winning team!

Hole In One Contests

Each par 3 had amazing prizes lined up, including $10,000 on hole 8 and a chance to win prizes including an Apple iPad mini, Samsung 50” TV, and SQAIRZ golf shoes on a hole in one on the other Par 3 holes!

Congratulations to John Rocha for his hole in one on hole #17 on tournament day!
